Welcome to the summer season in our beach towns, one of the busiest times of the year!

Our market statistics have been redesigned into snapshot format — making it very easy to compare this year’s pertinent real estate numbers versus last year’s during the same time frame. The Mid 2017 numbers have been tabulated and the complete data set is available by clicking here or on the image below.

The data indicates a very strong real estate market throughout coastal Delaware, with increased demand and increased prices.  The market has experienced a 21% increase in the number of homes sold over the first half of 2016 with homes selling 10% faster versus the same time period (131 days on market versus 146 in 2016).  These factors, coupled with a limited inventory, have led to higher home prices:  the average sold price increased by over $40,000 (up 9%) versus same period last year.

There are still some tremendous deals to be had if you are ready to buy your next home or investment property.  Click here to go to our Town-By-Town analysis which allows you to easily see an individual snapshot of each town from Milton to Fenwick and all points in between.

This is an excellent time to consider buying or selling in one of Delaware's beautiful coastal towns and we hope you find the data useful and informative when navigating your own real estate goals.  Please call or email me today to discuss your next move here at the beach!
